Red List Workshop
Registration for the extended Red List workshop on Friday, March 29 is now closed, with 23 participants. For those registered, you should have received an e-mail confirmation. Contact us if you did not.

Guidelines for Presenters
ORAL PRESENTATIONS: All regular talks are scheduled for 15 minutes with 5 minutes for setup/questions (total 20 minutes). PowerPoint presentations will be supported. If you think your talk will have compatibility issues (i.e. Mac, different version of PowerPoint etc.) please save your presentation as a pdf file. If you want to use your own computer and have the appropriate adapter, please let us know ahead of time and we will try and accommodate your request.

How to get your presentation to us:

- E-mail your presentation to us ahead of time.
- Bring your presentation to registration on Sunday, March 24 at 4:00-5:30 p.m., or Monday, March 25 at 8:30-9:00 a.m.
We need to have your presentation at the latest 30 minutes prior to your session in the morning or afternoon.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS: Dimensions of poster boards are 90cm wide by 120cm tall. Please bring your poster on Monday March 25. During the lunch break you will have the opportunity to put them up. Posters will be left on permanent display during the Symposium outside the presentation room.

Getting To and From the Airport
TAXI: There are always plenty of taxis waiting at the airport to take you to the the Santa Maria Hotel in downtown Faro, which is approximately a 10 minute trip.
MINIBUS: If you would like to organize a group trip with other participants, you can contact the transport company Algarserra via e-mail; they charge 10 Euros for 4 people, 20 Euros for 8 people, and 30 Euros for 12 people.
PUBLIC BUS. See the EVA bus schedule for trips from the Airport to the Avenida da Republica (click on map to see how to get to hotel from here). On Saturdays and Sundays the only times are 22.17 and 23.15.

Checking In
The Santa Maria Hotel has a list of your names so upon check in just let them know you are with the University of the Algarve Symposium group. Members of the organizing committee will be there on Sunday. March 24 from 3 p.m. If you arrive outside of this time and run into any difficulties, please contact (351) 963092216. We can no longer make any changes to the booking days - if you require extra days please organize it directly with the hotel.

There are 2 opportunities to register and pick up your Symposium packet and program booklet: Sunday, March 24 from 4:00-7:00 p.m., at the Hotel Santa Maria; and Monday, March 25 from 8:30-9:00 a.m. at the University campus (the arranged transportation will take you there).

Transport from Hotel to Campus
Arranged transportation will take you to the campus at 8:10 a.m. on Monday, March 25 - look out for one of our volunteers who will guide you to the bus. On all other days the bus will leave the hotel at 8:30 a.m. It will return at the end of the daily schedule.

Outstanding Costs
During registration you will be provided with an invoice or receipt and be expected to pay for any outstanding registration fees, dinner costs, excursion costs etc. in cash only.
